HUBEI FUHAN INDUSTRIAL (GROUP) DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD. (FUHAN) established in 1956, predecessor for HUBEI TIMBER GENERAL INC. Now it’s a subsidiary of HUBEI UNITED INVESTMENT GROUP, the member of Hubei Forest Industry Promotion Association, HUBEI forestry industry key leading enterprise, and deputy-chairman unit for China's Forestry Industry Association. In 1991, the first blockboard in China was made in FUHAN. In 2012, FUHAN’s project “lowest- contained formaldehyde releasing of artificial manufacturing key technology on agriculture and forestry residues” won the national scientific and technological progress second prize.
