Established in March 2013, Shunde Association of Wood Industry is  a local non-profit industrious organization composed of companies, wholesale markets engaged in distribution and logistic of timber and wood products including log, bamboo, sawmill, etc. and institutions and unities  specialized in wood manufacturing,research and  education.

Now, the association has more than 110 members, retains permanent law consultant agency,  financial planners and senior consultants.

The development of Shunde timber and wood industry has a history of more than 20 years.The primary business is rubber timber import ,processing and trade.Currently the import volume of rubber timber is 2.2 billion m3per year,the volume of rubber finger joint board is about 2000 thousand per year.The imports and sales have reached 20 billion CNY,according to incompletely statistics,the total sales of Shunde  timber and wood products including other wood species and   deep processing amounts to 40 billion CNY per year.
